Meet Eileen

Eileen understands the need for compassion and advocacy when diagnosed with a brain tumor. She comes to BTN with over 18 years of nursing experience. Her background in hematology/oncology working for several years at Mayo Clinic as a Bone Marrow Transplant nurse, and as a Clinical Educator for patients with specialty infusion needs has given her an in-depth knowledge of the emotional, physical and financial struggles a patient and family are up against when diagnosed with a brain tumor. Personally, Eileen has assisted a member of her own family navigate the system when diagnosed with a brain tumor and understands the necessity of having your own personal advocate.
