Important Notice - Support Group on Hold due to Coronavirus
Brain Tumor Network is committed to helping our patients and caregivers stay healthy. With the recent news on coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made the hard decision to temporarily suspend our monthly support group until we know it is safe to resume it. There is nothing more important to us than your health and well-being. While we do not have any reason to believe that individuals in our community are infected with COVID-19, we believe this decision is in the best interest of our members.
Know that we are fully committed to providing the support you need during this difficult time. Our social workers, Tracy and Eden are available by phone at XXX. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.
As always, please continue to monitor our local news stations. We are also including a link to the CDC’s website where they are updating information regularly. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/index.html.
We will resume the support group as soon as we are able to do so. Thank you for your understanding.
Providing a network of support since 2007
Since 2007, the Brain Tumor Support Group of Northeast Florida has been providing a network of support with other individuals who understand the changes and challenges experienced by patients with brain tumors. This support group was initially hosted by The Sontag Foundation and now functions as a program of the Brain Tumor Network. The support group welcomes patients with any brain tumor type, their family members, and other caregivers.
